When The Mayor Of Blackburn With Darwen Came To Town

A few days ago we welcomed the Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen, Brian Taylor, to Ronset HQ. We were delighted that he made time in his busy itinerary to come across to have a chat with Managing Director Peter Farnworth (pictured below with the Mayor) and Commercial Director Chris Durham, along with many of the staff. 

Brian has only a few weeks left before his mayoral duties come to an end. He said that he had thoroughly enjoyed his time as mayor and he had made over 500 visits to various places across the borough in the past 12 months which is some going!! 

As he is from Darwen himself the mayor was very enamoured with there being so many people at Ronset with a connection to the town, including of course Peter. 

At Ronset of course, we have a huge number of printing machines that all do a number of different tasks for our team.

Staying At The Forefront Of Printing Innovation

Brian was very complementary about how we have kept at the forefront of printing innovation, continually updating the technology to ensure we can provide the best possible service to our clients. 

As he said to us, it’s not just print on to paper any more, but print onto a wide variety of materials from digital printing through to wide format print. He also said that it was great to see a company such as Ronset Ltd doing so well after so many years, with many of their clients in the Lancashire region and also employing staff from the area. 

The mayor spent quite a bit of time chatting away to everyone before his chauffeur came back to pick him up, and he was a credit to himself, being exceptionally friendly and generous with his time.

We are very happy that he has had such a wonderful time in his year as Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen, and hopefully the new mayor, whoever he may be, will want to pay a visit to Ronset HQ too!
